Handpull cask at Fuggle's Chapter One, Worksop. Dark brown, slightly translucent with a perfect tight beige head. Aroma is resplendent with Robusta coffee, sweet liquorice, bitter chocolate. Liquorice pushes to the front of the queue in the sweet taste, with just enough of a hoppy balance in the finish to keep it from turning sickly. Berry and stone fruit join coffee and liquorice in the aftertaste. A surprisingly good cask stout.

Gravity at Barrow Hill Festival - Deep dark beer with a little red tinge to it, thin tan head. Nose is full on espresso, with liquorice and burnt malts. Coffee goes through to the taste too, little bit of chocolate, and has a warmth that normally comes with heavier ABVs. Very nice to be honest.
