Bottle at CGarvie tasting. It pours deep reddish-amber with a thick yellow-white head. The nose is fresh pine, orange, tangerine, marmalade, varnish, stewed pear and green apple. The taste is tangy orange, tangerine, pine, earth, spice, varnish, candy, apple, pear drops and a touch of alcohol warmth with a dry, bitter finish. Medium-full body, fine carbonation and slightly sticky mouth-feel. Good bitter-sweet balance. Tasty stuff.

Bottled @ Beertemple, 9 months old. Slightly hazy golden color, medium head. Aroma is quite spicy, after 9 months the saison yeast comes out much better than when fresh. Hops are a bit less and the malt base is balanced a bit more. It feels like a super-charged version of the Jaar & Dag now. Still quite some malt and a little alcohol to make it a big sipper. Much better now the yeast comes through. --- Beer aliased from original tick of Super-Charged Saison IPA on 13 Nov 2012 at 21:35 - Score: 8. Bottle from Bierkompass.de, March 2013. A bit hazy amber with a white head. Aroma of orange, some soap, light spiced and some wood. About the same in the taste. Also some marmelade and alcohol. Drinkable but nothing spectacular.

A reddish brown beer with a medium, creamy and blond head. Aroma is tropical fruity, lots of fructose, peaches, hint of spices, overally the strong fruityness is dominate. Taste of fruits, peaches, tropical fruits, lots of fructose, some bitterness balancing the strong sweetness, hint of spices and pine needles. Full bodied, smooth carbonation, slightly heavy to drink. This is not Saison, more like DIPA, a slightly too heavy and sweet, but still tastefull.

Bottle at home (750ml corked and capped) thanks to an IP trade with Dennis. Cloudy orange/amber with a decent off white head that hangs around. Nose is juicy mango, peach, orange, hops, caramelised sugars, light spice. Taste comprises orange pith, grapefruit, mango, sugars, tarte and tangy citrus fruit, light mineral notes, background hops. Fullish body with fine carbonation, sweet dryish finish. Nice ramped up saison !
