Bottle 65 cl. Courtesy of yespr. Pours an almost clear amber with an off-white head. Spicy, citrusy aroma with a herbal touch. Thick, sweet and sugary body with a lowish carbonation. Loads of caramel, perfumy hop accents and a rather boozy finish. A bit much. 150313

Sampled at Ft Wayne RB tasting - Pours hazy copper and has an enjoyable big citrus hop aroma. I thought this beer was surprisingly sweet for a saison/ipa. It’s almost sugary. The citrus flavors come through very nicely. Medium to full bodied, it’s quite good.

Cloudy amber- orange, tall finehead. Nose like an IPA, caramel malts, citrs hops, not very saison-like, though nice. Flavor is alcohol, Belgian yeast, huge malt sweetness, plus big hop bitterness. Ridiculously sweet, spicy, boozy. Nohing saison-like about it, just an under-attenuated double IPA with Belgian yeast. Haphazard.

750ml bottle from Beernavigator

Bottled on 13.7.2012 - Pours dark orange with a large foamy head. Aroma of sweet berries, caramel malts, hints of fruity hops and grass. Taste is sweet and malty with some berries, caramel, toffee and hints of spices. Finish is warming, sweet, caramely and malty with mild notes of grassy hops and berries. Quite untypical for a saison, too boozy, sweet and malty. Feels a bit unbalanced and messy.

75 cl bottle @ home as ”Super‐Charged Saison”, bottled 12.07.2012, BBE 12.07.2022
Aroma has is somewhat stale with citrus, some orange and distant earthy notes. Flavour has berries, caramel, resin, apricot and some solvent‐like alcohol htat turns burning after some sips. Sticky palate, even stickier towards the end of the glass. Too messy, too much berries and alcohol.

Bottle @ home via trade with Veldrid. Thanks! Pours a hazy reddish orange appearance wit ha small tan head. Smells quite strong: rich orange citrus, bread, grapefruit, mild herbs. The flavor is quite strong and fairly boozy with notes of orange, mango, citrus, lots of bread, and bitter hops. Not what I was expecting and the strength is a bit overwhelming.

750 ml bottle courtesy of rlgk. Pours heavy cloudy goldenish brown with a frothy brownish white head that slowly dissipates while leaving lots of trace on the glass. Smell is sweet and malty with toasted malts, caramel, vanilla fudge, lemon zest, hazelnuts, lemon juice, overripe tropical fruits, alcohol, cookie dough and hints of shampoo and shellfish. Taste is sweet, bitter and malty with caramel, sweet dark bread, alcohol, orange peal, lemon zest, pineapple, mango, lemony soap, pine, fresh grass, prunes and hazelnuts. Mouthfeel is round, slightly astringent, slightly boozy and medium to full bodied. Finish is slightly sweet, bitter and malty with caramel, sweet dark bread, orange peal, marmalade, pine, resinous wood, pineapple and mango. Tired east coast IIPA.
