A hazed amber IPA with a thin off white head. In aroma, loads of citrus orange pulp, and floral hops. In mouth, a sweet prange juice with light hops, not bad, but a bit too sweet. Tasted Dec. 15 2012.

75 cl. bottle, corked & caged sampled / shared @ Tim’s De Molen & assorted beers tasting // fun label, typical Molen stuff but with the two breweries logos, it looks a bit funny // dark brown, murky, creamy white head // smell is supercharged, lots of Hoppin’ Frog hops, their typical profile, works great in this context, lots of pine, touch earthly, three bark, grapefruit, bitter herbs // taste is sugar, banana, caramel – I am way more into sweetness than hoppyness, so the added sweetness works for me – bitter Hoppin’ Frog / USA hops, lots of pine, sticky, three bark, plenty of pine, sugar blended with Molen spices en spicy yeast, sharp, touch dark fruits, great blend of both breweries styles // lightly sticky, quite full with all of the hops jammed in this plus sweet, touch sticky malts // I know that loving this seems stubborn since others were quite turned off by this but I genuinely loved this & think that this is a great blend of both breweries signatures // fine stuff

75cl bottle, shared with 77ships, Martinus and Tderoeck.

Clear ruby red beer, irregular small beige to reddish head, unstable, bit adhesive. Aroma: very fruity, exotic fruits, passion fruit, bit piny, sugary, syrup, sweet malts. MF: soft carbon, full body. Taste: sugary sweet start, syrupy, little fruity, some bubble gum, alcohol, canned fruits, candied fruits. Aftertaste: bitter touch, sugary, boozy, sweet alcohol, little citric, sweet malts, orange peel, honey, little peppery. Was expecting more of this one...

22 oz. bottle, sent from jmikolich (thanks a lot, Jim), pours a clear bronze / copper with a small tan head. Aroma is fairly alcoholic, with Belgian yeast, candied sugar, citrus hops and some cosmetic qualities. Flavour is exceedingly syrupy, with very medicinal notes of cough syrup, paint thinner and alcohol. This is pretty nasty, with a disgustingly syrupy quality and medicinal tones. What the hell were they going for? Gross.

Bottle, 75cl corked. It’s an unclear, reddish dark golden beer topped by a dense, finger-thick light beige head. The aroma is quite hoppy, with a touch of vanilla and bubble gum. Hints of alcohol, and a good dash of tropical fruits. It’s quite effervescent, full-bodied and a bit sweetish on the palate. Yeast, fruityness, some bubble gum and white sugar. Bitter finish with flavors of tropical fruits. A decent beer, but way to sugary for a Saison I think. 121109
