330ml bottle. Moderately cloudy, orangey golden to amber colour with small to average, thick, creamy, fairly lasting, moderately lacing, off-white head. Citrusy and piney, hoppy aroma, caramel malty basis with an almond touch, hints of oat flakes on apple purée, zesty notes of lemon and orange, hints of grapefruit. Taste is citrusy hoppy, moderate but insistent hop bitterness, zesty notes of lemon and orange, hints of grapefruit, pale and caramel malty backbone with cautious almond touch. Hits you hard: first you get thrilled and become wide awake - but immediately thereafter you feel tired, laboured, hammered...

A murky dark amber ale with a thin lacing light mocha head. In aroma, sweet fruity caramel malt with light sulfur notes, resinous floral hops, grapefruit pulp, pungent and intense. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity caramel malt with vinous character, barley wine like, treacle, light butterscotch, resinous and piney floral hops, grapefruit pulp, alcohol warmth, very nice.

(Bottle) Hazy amber colour with frothy, off-white head. Malty, fruity nose with caramel, treacle-toffee, crisp-bread, citrus, orange peel, lychee, grapefruit and some boozy aromas. Malty, fruity, vinous taste with notes of caramel, crisp-bread, orange peel, grapefruit, burnt rubber, dried apricots and a heavy citric, resiny bitterness in a finish with a certain alcohol glow. Full body, fairly sweet. Some of the hops get lost in the heavy malt character, but it’s still quite bitter. Quite sweet and boozy, so it’s not really in perfect balance, but quite enjoyable in moderate doses. Nice one.

Into a teku showing half a finger of clean white foam and dark honey. Low filtration. The nose shows a lot of sweet caramel malts with some faint hints of mango and pineapple. The palate is full bodied and lightly carbonated. Mostly malt on the attack. Some tropical hops on the finish but faint.

Heller, hopfig malziger Antrunk. Ansprechende Würzigkeit, angenehme milde und unterstützende Alkoholigkeit. Mild herb, der honigartige Hopfen steigt. Dies intensiviert sich zum Ende weiter, vollmundig, weich. 11/11/12/12/8/11

Dark golden with a white head - Hoppy aroma with tropical fruits - Malt body to support a hop profile that has tropical fruits and a nice bitterness - The tropical frutis and bitterness from the hops goes into the finish - This was good
