Elsie Mo’s name is derived from the Low Colour Maris Otter malt from which it is exclusively brewed, and which gives the beer its lovely golden hue. A blend of First Gold, Aurora and Bobek hops give the beer its delicate citrus aroma and floral taste.

Cask, Gravity at the oepning of Merton playground Sat 21st October 2006. Golden colour with a bubbly fast dissapearing head. Fresh, fruity mainly citrusy in both aroma and taste, aligned with some underlying sweetness, good level of bittereness this really was a very nice beer.

Cask at The Alexandra Hotel, Derby A spectacularly clear and bright pint, with a refreshing citrus flavour. When I compared my notes I found I had given it exactly the same rating as the bottled version.

[Cask at Charlies Bar, Copenhagen] A dark orange beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet with light notes of fruit - especially peaches. The flavor is sweet malty and very fruity, but also slightly bitter, giving it a very dry end. A good Bitter.

Cask at Head of Steam Euston London Mid gold in colour with a hoppy nose and superb balance throughout. More hoppy bitterness on the finish with citric flavours on nose and on finish. Truly excellent citrus golden beer of its type
