Almost clear copper beer under a thick, slightly yellowish head with rings of lace. Citrussy, hoppy-oily nose with exotic fruit, preserved orange. Bitter-citrussy, with a quite dry, lupulin imposed finish - really as straight from hopbells. Bit vegetable too. Light body, if very hopoily, slick. Not very carbonated. Hopbomb, just maybe a tad too oily-sticky-hoppy to be really a thirstquencher (which would be required for a summer ale). Txs to Stef!

Blond colour with thin head. Aroma and flavour have light cereal notes. Light floral hop bitterness. Similar to English summer ales.

Bottle from het Biermoment, bottled May 2017. Almost clear golden color, medium lasting rocky head. Aroma is soft of stonefruit and citrus, slight cookie and biscuit from the malt. Light bitterness in taste, slight piney and herbal, some biscuity sweetness. More bitterness in the finish. Decent refreshing pale ale. --- Beer merged from original tick of Thirsty Mosquito Summer Ale on 26 Nov 2017 at 15:57 - Score: 7

0.33 l bottle from 'Sterk Avondverkoop', bottled in May 2017. Slightly hazy, golden amber with a thin, frothy, almost stable, white head. Sweetish, quite fruity, slightly grassy and a bit resiny aroma of orange jam, mango and some pine. Moderately sweet, slightly bitter, rather fruity, slightly grassy taste of orange jam, mango, some melon and a touch of pine, followed by a short, moderately bitter, quite dry, grassy, slightly resiny and a bit herbal finish. Medium body, slightly creamy and moderately effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Very refreshing, easy-drinking session beer!

Donkergeel bier met schuim. Smaak is licht bitter hoppig, fruitig en licht kruidig met iets van nootmuskaat en gember. Aparte smaak en juist daarom best goed.

Bottle @ home. Hazy yellow-orange color, medium sized white head. Aroma is malts, hops, light grapefruit, light hayish and grassy. Tastes about the same. Very refreshing, refreshing grapefruity-like hop bitter combined with a touch of hayish / grassy hops. I like it. Medium body, quite oily texture, average carbonation. Nice.
