Bottle, sold as Meerhovens Bierke. Blonde, hazy. Tangerine and toffee in the aroma. Yeast, toffee, butter and a hint of citrus in the flavor. Amateuristic, but quite drinkable. Sold as Smellap Carnavalsbier by the brewer in Schijndel. Tasted 28.10.03 Orange color, cloudy. Vanilla aroma. Sweet flavor with vanilla, caramel and orange. Medium bodied. Refreshing, could be a nice summer drink. Pleasant surprise from St Servattumus. Ɠ.2) Sold as Haagse Hop, tasted in april ’05. Aroma has orange, yeast and a touch of caramel. Flavor has orange and a hint of licorice. Almost no carbon, the beer must be very young. Some hops partly hidden by the yeast character. Amateuristic, but not too bad.

Bottle, 5.6%. Fruity aroma. Hazy red/yellow colour. Very small white head. Fruity flavour, rather yeasty. Slightly sweet. Not very clean and not very harmonic.

Bottle, 5.6%. Sour and citric hop aroma, pukey and not too pleasant. Hazy golden colour, sparkling. Getting quite cloudy towards the bottom. Small, chalk-white head. The flavour is full and a little sweet with a distinct acidity from the hops and probably also some form of fermentation. A little yoghurty and rough in good balance with sweetness. Lemony fruitiness. Quite pleasant, flavourful and refreshing.

Hazy orange; gushing to huge fluffy, orange-tinted head, dissipating. Caramel, coloured malts and generally sweet nose, with a markably citrus (orange /grapefruitpeel) aroma surrounding. Sweet taste, malty with again an important citrus flavour surrounding, but all the same, pretty dull. I finally got faint aromahops retronasal. Medium-bodied, bit sticky mouthfeel. Aftertaste again sweet + citruspeel aroma. A huge rating difference between individual and overall notes. Why - because one cannot call a beer 'the little hopcone" and then deliver something so dull-sweet.
