Unsere dunkle Starkbierspezialität aus München. Würzig, aromatisch und kraftvoll im Geschmack. Von den Geschichten über den ehemals „stärksten Mann Bayerns“ zeugt heute noch der Stein vom Steyrer-Hans mit einem Gewicht von 259 Kilogramm, den dieser angeblich mit einem Finger lupfte, sowie ein alljährlicher Kräftevergleich im Löwenbräukeller. Wenn Kraft gefragt ist, wird Triumphator getrunken. Denn das würzige, dunkle Starkbier ist aromatisch und kraftvoll im Geschmack. 18,2% Plato.

Clear amber brown colour, fair frothy beige head, dissipating quickly, fair lacing. Aroma sweet dark roasted malt, dark fudge/toffee, ripe fruit, molasses. Taste light heavy sweet and slightly bitter, malty, roasty, caramel, syrupy, touch of chocolate, earthy notes. Malty sweet and slightly bitter aftertaste, some burnt caramel, bit sugary. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation, classic doppelbock, very tasty, good.

Löwenbräu Triumphator, Flasche vom Kaufhof München am Stachus. - Tiefdunkles Braunrot, klar. - In der Nase fettes dunkles Malz, gut röstmalzig, süßes Lakritz, etwas Unami, insgesamt recht derb. - Antrunk kernig dunkelmalzig mit malziger Bittere, Lakritz, Paranuß. Milde, vage Hopfenherbe. Milder rezent, vollmundig schwer, leicht metallisch auf der Zunge. Im Abgang malzbitter, zart säuerlich und nur schwach hopfenherb. - Massiv dunkelmalzig-lakritziger Bock, solide aber wenig komplex und auf Dauer doch arg derb.

Flaska från Hopt.se. Kastanjebrun klar vätska med lågt skum. Söt doft med mörkt sött bröd, sirap, , rostad malt, brödkryddor. Väl söt och lite enkelspårig. Ok

Thin beige head soon left flotsam on a rich mahogany still body. Big aroma of dark berries, demerara & spices. Medium to full bodied, prickly to the fore followed by a fresh feeling clean finish. Dark fruits, berries, brown sugar & malt with a fruity citrus finish.

17.06.2018 -- on tap at löwenbräu in heidelberg. pours a clear dark mahogany with a medium beige head. aroma of caramel, nuts, molasses. flavour of caramel, raisins, citrus, a bit of cold coffee. quite sweet but also sourish. little bitterness. ok.

500 ml bottle. Pours murky dark brown reddish with big creamy head. Walnut, roasted malt, dark bread, caramel, brown sugar, some ashes. Bitter with malty sweetness. Full bodied, soft carbonated, oily texture, bitter dry and sweet finish. Overall quite nice Doppelbock!

500ml bottle from Bottle Stop, Bramhall. Pours clear ruby brown with a beige head. Aroma is sweet, malty, bananas, bubblegum, dried fruits. Taste: moderate to heavy sweet, moderate to heavy malty, nutty, caramel, raisins, bananas & bubblegum. Medium bodied, ample carbonation, bittersweet finish.
