Bottle at home, courtesy of Benzai. Pitch black with beige head. Loads of peat, liquorice, ash and hints of soy sauce. Boozy peat overwhelming. Heavy peated finish.

Bottle @ home. Opaque black color, average sized beige to light brown colored head that lasts for a short while. Aroma and flavor are malts, dark malts, dark chocolate, only a light hint of peat (fortunately), slight sweet notes and pleasant soft bitter notes. Aroma has more peat than the flavor. Like the aroma, love the flavor. Medium body, soft carbonation that suits the beer well. I like it, very nice!

Bottle. Black pour. Aroma of smoke, peat, chocolate, licorice, ash and whisky. Taste has smoke, meaty peat, chocolate, licorice, roasted malt, burning whisky booze, caramel and a ledaig heavy finish. This is strong stuff, love it.

Bottle shared at Maakun's Homestead. Thanks! Black with thin tan head. Deep roasted chocolate malts, licorice, charcoal, whiskey, peat, old rained through tar coated wooden beams. Big sweet and bitter, moderate salty, peaty. Full body and soft carbonation. --- Beer merged from original tick of Zwarte Snorre Barrel Aged Ledaig Whisky on 15 Mar 2018 at 14:12 - Score: 7

Bottle shared at home, thanks to Bierkoning for the bottle! Black with some dark beige bubbles but no real head. Red apple, quite some licorice, hay, peat, whisky, roast, tar, marzipan, chestnuts, lots of old wood. Medium sweet and a bit over medium bitter. Full bodied with very low carbonation. There’s quite some barrel here, maybe a little too much. Some carbonation would also be nice I think, but again like others of this series this is quite interesting and enjoyable.

Weicher, etwas wässrig röstiger Beginn. Geringe Süße, wenig Alkohol, zunehmend Schokolade, verwässert. Holz, harmonisch, minimal Karamell. Nett. 10/9/10/10/9/9

Aroma is peat smoke, vanilla, creme brulee, cocoa syrup. Taste is some green coffe beans, sweet and some spicyness, quite smooth. Lacks a bit backbone but is still quite nice.

Bottle. Darkest brown color with beige head. Aroma is wood, ash, just a touch peat, chocolate, roast. Taste is chocolate, caramel, wood, ash, a touch peat again. Oily mouthfeel with low carbonation. Aftertaste of wood and ash. Beautifully balanced, one of the best peated BA beers I've ever had. Excellent!
