bottle from kihoskh clear golden, smooth large white head. mild aroma, slighly sweet spicy or flowery. flavor is metallic hoppy, spicy bitter hoppy, dry malty. the metallic tinge to the flavor really drags down the expeprience, otherwise a nice bitter. After a while the metallic note sort of goes away and leaves a pretty decent brew.

Bottle. It pours a small, white head over a clear, golden body. Rather buttery on the nose. Some spiced hints and a touch of hoppyness. Pleasant bitterness in the mouth, but it’s too buttery to be pleasant. Fruityness and a grassy touch too. Fresh birch leaves spring to mind. Medium body. Short finish with buttery malts and some bitterness. As the Bitter, way too buttery, but it downs quite easily. 110219

500ml bottle from Tesco, Ashford, Kent. Gold with a thick white head and light carbonation; rich burnt caramel aroma; the flavour is bursting with toasted malts, treacle and burnt sugar. Incredibly moreish.

500ml bottle from Tesco. Gold with thin beige head. Aroma of straw and floral hop. Some candy sugar as pasteurised. Some light toffee malt. It’s just not very good as a pateurised beer.

Bottle. Deep gold colour with a decent white head. Sweet malt and grassy hop aroma with an industrial edge. Flavour had some caramel and fruity hops before a decent dry finish. Good.
