Bottle from Shelley Garden Centre, West Yorkshire. I’d hope this was a bit of a duff bottle, because it was like the liquid version of a well buttered, overripe banana sandwich. Which is alright as a sandwich. But as for a beer...

Lighter golden coloured ale, but with plenty of body and character. Has a mild bitterness and some fruitiness.

500ml bottle. Clear golden colour with small, macropore to frothy, white head. Fruity aroma has a decent apple note, grainy and husky overtones. Taste is initially malty and minimally fruity, some husky notes come in, before bitter hop notes take completely over.
