Brewed in collaboration with our friends, Top Rope Brewing, we came up with a new take on our Kentucky Riot stout - only using a loads of maple and pecan, and increasing the abv to give an even bigger flavour hit!

Can from Hoptimism. Jet black colour. Aroma has coffee, chocolate and maple. Taste light sweet to roasted bitter. Medium body.

Keg from the Rusty Bucket, Eltham. Black pour with a beige head. Coffee, chocolate ice cream, profiteroles, cocoa aromas. Taste is chocolate cake, cappuccino, light smoke, maple, cocoa, raisin, liquorice toffee. Sweet dry roasty finish. Exceedingly tasty.

Cask @ Beatnikz Republic Bar, Manchester. Black with a fair texture, although this was drank after an 11% brew from Beatnikz, so felt much easier in this respect. Its maple and bourbon influence is light but both are evident, and are best in its aroma. It's not too sticky or sweet as might be expected with this type of brew. Perhaps understated but still fair.

Nice mild bourbon stout, really good balance of flavors. It’s like a scaled down version of a fantastic big stout. Beatnikz Manchester
