A session pale influenced by the recent trend for hazy pales and IPAs. This beer is bursting with fruity aroma, while low-to-no bitterness allows the hop character to shine. Full bodied with a soft mouthfeel, it’s the perfect introduction to craft beer.

Pale malt, Wheat and Oats provide the base. Carapils added for body. Citra and Amarillo hops in the whirlpool. Dry hopped with Citra, Cascade and Simcoe. Fermented with a Vermont Ale yeast strain.

Bottle @ 4.8%. Hazy gold with small white head. Aroma of juicy grapefruit, some citrus. Taste is moderate juicy, with citrus and a grassy note but a bit one-dimensional. Moderate body helped by the additional oats. Its nice but nothing special.

On tap at Mother Kellys Vauxhall. Hazy gold colour thin white head. Some tropical hops on aroma. Taste is more of the same tropical fruit juice with a bit of fullness in the mouth. Light bitterness on the finish. Refreshing tropical pale ale I thought. Very drinkable

Bottle @ home. Last beer of 2018. Didn't feel like opening a huge rare bomber. Just wanted a nice easy going beer. Clear golden color, average sized white head. Aroma is a bit unpleasant imo. Odd lightly tart fruitiness, dusty and buttery a bit. Flavor is similar. Meh. Hope 2019 starts off better.

Bottle from Beer 52. Appearance - cloudy orange. Generous head. Nose - red apple, orange peel and pungent guava. Taste - orange zest, more red apple. General feeling of fruit salad. Palate - close to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a long dry finish. Overall - flavoursome.
