Bottled@Littlepub, Vaasa. Pitch back colour with a mediumsized brown head. Aroma is alcohol, some raisins, mild roasted tones with a bit of ashes and coffee and chocolate. Flavour is chocolaty, some liquorice, mild alcohol, dried fruits, some toffee and mild toasted tones with some plum and figs.

(Keg at Uba ja Humal Taproom, 20190619) The beer poured black. Its head was small and lightly brown. Aroma had smoke, burnt malts and smoked ham. Palate was full bodied and oily with low carbonation. Flavours were burnt malts, smoke, smoked ham, sweetness and bitterness. Aftertaste had smoke, burnt malts and bitterness. A nice smoky imperial stout.

Tap at Little Pub. Opaque brown colour, medium-sized beige head. Toasted smoked ham aroma. Full-bodied. Licorice, smoke, smoked ham flavour. Sweetish finish. Some alcohol. Heavy stuff.

Tap at One Pint Pub, Helsinki. Color is very dark brown with very small white. Aromas and flavors: Syrup, tar, some licorice and roasted malts.

Sweet, honey, plums, alcohol

330ml bottle. Pours black brown, some lighter brown foam on the top, quite dense bubble formation. Creamy soy sauce nose, some liquorice and very high cocoa content bitter chocolate. Light smokiness and leather also there. Tastes sweetish, creamy and smoke is also strong. Salty in a sense, lots of umami and liquorice in this beer. Not too easy to drink but hey, not everybody likes liquorice. Dry, herbal bitterness in the finish linger, a bit harsh, reminding me Rigas Balzams for example, herb liquor feel to this. Overall, not bad but a bit too harsh for a better number.

33 cl bottle @ BrewDog Tre. Aroma has cocoa, salty licorice a d smoky tones. Flavour has smoke, tar, salty licorice and rye. Way too salty for my taste. Not bad anyway.

Bottle at ujh. Pours dark brown-black. Aroma and flavor are smoke, sweetness, molasses, roast, malt, licorice. Feels quite thick. Overall: good, but I feel like this needs more time.
