--- Beer merged from original tick of Wilskracht Vlier Bier on 17 May 2018 at 15:10 - Score: 6

Bottle at De Koffer. Clear dark golden with off white head. Quite some honey, cream, light paper, grass, caramel, I don’t really get much fresh elderflower here. Some sweet berries and dusty herbs in the finish. Under medium sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with dry dusty finish. Not really my thing.

Golden colour with quick fading head. Aroma certainly has the sweet and sharp Elderberry. Fairly plain taste. Lacks some depth and complexity.

Bottle @ home. Clear golden color, medium sized quickly diminishing off-white to beige head. Smell and taste malts, wheat, honey, sweetish. Average to decent body and carbonation. Ok beer.

0.33 l bottle from the brewery, bottled in April 2016. Minimally hazy, brownish amber with a thin, frothy, almost stable, beige head. Sweetish, slightly spicy and minimally fruity aroma of caramel, nuts, honey and hints of elderflowers. Sweetish, slightly spicy and a little fruity taste of caramel, honey, nuts and hints of elderflowers, followed by a short, slightly bitter and a little spicy finish. Medium to full body, slightly creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Honey is definitely there, elderflowers only very subtle, very malty overall. Nevertheless quite tasty, the mouthfeel is really good for that abv.
