This is our premium “Best Bitter”. A copper flavoursome ale, complex and fruity. Made from a combination of six malts, complimented with English Challenger and Bramling Cross hops to give a smooth fruity character and delicate blackcurrant aroma.

Cask at tynedale beer festival. Pours deep amber, nose is caramel, toffee, taste is similar, sweet, nutty.

Cask at the Tynedale Beer Festival 2021. Pours clear amber with a thin white head. Aromas of caramel, earthy hops. Taste is light sweet, earthy finish.

Cask at The Bull, Market Deeping. Amber colour with a white head. Grassy and light citrus aroma. Taste dry and herby. Medium body.

Cask pint, Beer Engine, Skipton, 31st May 2019. Good amber body, off-white crown. Nice blend of semi-sweet malts and semi-bitter hops, liked it without getting too excited.

Pint on tap at the Old Market Hall. Thick creamy white head. Clear light amber pour. Light bitterness.

Cask at Angleterre, Helsinki. Colour is clear orange with small white head. Aromas and flavors: Nuts, ripe fruits, fruits, sweetness, hops and malts. Very fruity bitter and actually very good. Nice fresh strong flavors. Best real ale for me for a long time.

Cask at Oliver twist. Pours amber with a white head. Hoppy, sweet, resin and chocolate.

Cask at the Queen Hotel (JDW), Aldershot. Pale golden amber with a ring of white head; bitter herbal aroma; peppery taste with a malty body; and a dry biscuity finish with a lingering bitterness. Rather good.

Fra fat på Company Inn i Nottingham 20 Feb 16. Delt med Rune. Gylden. Lavt, lett farget luftig skum. Ok filigranser. Lett maltaroma. Smaken litt karamellisk med innslag av tørket frukt.
