Bottle from Asda. Poured a clear copper colour with a frothy white head and a few bubbles. The aroma is light caramel malt, light hop. The flavour is moderate bitter with a light fruit woody, light resin hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with lively carbonation.

Clear glass bottle: 500ml, BBD Dec 17. Poured into a UK pint sleeve at home on 30th Mar 17. Amber brown with an off-white head. I actually liked this, a little malty nose and taste with a decent hop balance. My sweet tooth picking up the light malty sweetness straight away. Not bad at all for a cheap supermarket beer, people need to lighten up when rating such brews.

Short head. Golden to amber colored beer. Good amount of hops in aroma, some malts and hints of honey. Hints of esters. Some melanoidins, I think. Delicate scent/flavor of hooch or whiskey. Light to medium bitterness. Lightly carbonated, slick texture. Medium body. British must have different thoughts on IPA style than Americans.

A bit watery, boring. Fresh-smooth beginning, not too deep. Easy to drink, slightly hoppy, a bit of malt but not more. The aftertaste is medium, watery sweetish with nice floral bitter hints.

500ml bottle (gift) - Clear amber body, thin, bubbly off-white head. Grassy, malty aroma. Very high prickly carbonation, with a sweet, earthy, but bland taste. Dry bitter finish. Nothing special, let alone Extra Special.

Bottle. Herbal hops, English, with tobacco and slightly sweet, slightly caramel malts. Thin and light. Not bad at all, though nothing special.
