Sweet, chocolatey and milky. Nothing overdone, still nicely bitter, a bit roasted and plenty of beeryness. A bit thin for a milk stout, though. Solid in general, and pleasant enough.

33cl can. Poured almost black with a frothy, short-lived tan head. The aroma is roasted malt, chocolate, red-berry fruits, light dry coffee, liqourice, some molasses. The flavour is moderate sweet, liqourice bitter with a smooth rich, slightly oily, roasty malt, liqourice, dry spice palate. medium to full boidied with soft carbonation.

Can. Nose is lactose, coco, milk chocolate, soft smoke, nice. Taste is milk chocolate, nut, lactose, hint of cola, smoke, coffee. Smooth mouthfeel. Very nice, and much better than expected from a beer in Asda.
