Bottle from Asda; clear golden yellow pour with a thin white, aroma has a surprisingly pleasant pine and tangerine aroma, taste has sweet malts, light pine, caramel, hint of butterscotch and citrus.

Bottle at home in London - picked up at Waitrose Canary Wharf. Pours crystal clear gold, lightly effervescent, with a slight, foamy white head. Ample pithy citrus in the nose, some zesty lime peel, grapefruit, pale bread. Light-medium sweet flavour with more zesty citrus character, some bready pale malts, mellow rindy bitterness, touches of pine, rind, tangerine. Light bodied with average carbonation. Pretty well balanced on the finish with further pale malt sugars, more citrusy hops, mild bitterness, notes of tangerine, lime, orange. This is a totally acceptable SIPA.

Bottle from Asda. Golden in colour, with next-to-no head and a slight fizziness. Tropical fruit and sweet malt aroma with a touch of leafy hop. Flavour was similar, with some decent biscuity malts and more fruit, before a moderately bitter finish. Fine.

500ml bottle. Pours bright gold with a medium head. Aroma is grassy, limey, lemon. Taste is mostly grassy. Some lemon. Buttery finish. Slick mouthfeel.
