Bottle split at Leighton's gaff, big thanks to Kenny, 05/12/17. Rich chestnut to mahogany brown with a decent beige cap. Nose is nutty, malts, mellow barrel, light spice, fruit cake, dates. Taste comprises fruit loaf, burnt toffee, light spice whisper, red grape notes, oak, brown sugar, raisins. Medium plus body, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a light boost. Decent enough sipper but lacks depth for the ABV.

Bottle shared in Hackney - big thanks to Mitch. Pours unclear amber with a creamy, tan head. Nice aroma, lots of ripe berries, wood, earth, leather, grapes. Medium to big sweet flavour with balancing woody dryness, more grape, raisin, cherry, hints of toffee. Medium to full bodied with fine carbonation, warming finish, more ripe and leathery berries, mild earth, tangy wood. Great stuff.
