Bottle from Asda. Pours light gold, brief fizzy white head, plenty of bubbles. Aroma of sulphur and old apples, not fresh at all. Taste is a mildly tangy apples, sweet sugars with a very bland moderately dry finish. Light body, a slight oiliness on the palate, moderate carbonation. Overall not great

Bottle from Premier Supermarket, Hele Bay near Ilfracombe. Clear very pale yellow coloured with an extremely light carbonation. Slightly dry, slightly sweet, it’s a very regular tasting apple cider without much aroma.

440ml can from ASDA, Telford. Pale yellow colour, short-lived white foam head and aroma of artificial apple sweetener, sulphur. Taste is apple flavour, sugary sweet, with straw, cardboard. Thin mouthfeel, light bodied, medium carbonation, lingering sweet finish. Overly sweet and abit bland.
