The modern-day brewing trend is very much for massively hopped beers featuring numerous varieties from across the globe. So we’ve had a go at brewing a beer with just a single hop variety. That’s right, just one. Uno. Eins. Un. It is a good one – Cascade – and we’ve tried to be a bit imaginative with different formats of it added at different stages of the brewing process.

28/8/2022. Bottle at the Wroclaw GP beer share. From Brampton Brewery Beer Cellar. Pours clear bright golden amber with a frothy white head. Aroma of caramel, sweet malt, butter, citrus, lemon, herbs, starchy soapy edge. Medium sweetness, light bitterness and tartness. Light to moderate body, slightly watery, soft carbonation.

Bottle from the Brampton Brewery Shop, Chesterfield. Golden-orange in colour with a hardly any head. Has lots of hops, biscuit notes, a pithy orange-fruitiness, a similar nose in this respect, with a fairly easy drinking texture.
