Can (1/28/22) pour from trade with AirForceHops--thanks, Chris! It's a dark, dark brown--virtually opaque black--with nice sparkle, finger-width light brown head with fair retention, light viscosity and no lacing. Aroma is strong earthy roasted malt and coffee over milk chocolate. Taste is strong earthy roasted malt and coffee, toffee, bittersweet chocolate. Mouthfeel is light-to-medium bodied with smooth, frothy texture, no sign of alcohol, soft carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, the base Baltic Porter is here but additional flavors come through as nice complements. A bit thin. Nice.

Pint bottle. Poured a clear dark brown, almost black colour with a short-lived, fizzy tan head. The aroma is roasty malt and molasses. The flavour is moderate liqourice bitter, with a roasty, dry spicy coffee, liqourice, dark chocolate, light warm boozy alcohol palate. Over medium bodied with average carbonation.

16 oz. can. Dated 01/28/22. Aroma is chocolate, earthy green and moderate coffee bean. The coffee is not dominant. It compliments the chocolate and earthy grains. Soft carbonation with a medium body. Alcohol is extremely well hidden. Nice drink!

Hardywood Baltic Sunrise 9.4% Nice morning train Beer with an aroma and flavor that reminds me of a less sweet Pizza Port Bacon & Eggs which I loved. Really nice coffee beer.

Can from Tavour. Pours a bit like Guinness. Color is dark orange/brown with a creamy tan head. Aroma of very good coffee. Med plus body. Flavor is very good coffee, followed by toasted/burnt malt. Not very sweet. Burnt malt and coffee bitter. Notes of chocolate and vanilla. A slight minerality. Very tasty.
