20/I/23 - 33cl bottle from Geers (Oostakker), shared @ Wim’s place, BB: 25/IV/22, bottled: 24/IV/20 (2023-85) An early pandemic beer as it seems.
Clear dark purple red beer, small creamy off-white head, unstable, non adhesive. Aroma: fruity, sweet impression, bubble gum, artificial fruit flavourings. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: a bit sourish, watery, berries, soft acidity, a little bitter, not too bad, somewhat watery though. Aftertaste: a bit sourish, funky touch, berries, ok, was expecting way worse from the smell.

Deep red colour with no head. It's really packed with fruit. Luckily it's not overly sweet.

Huge, if fast dwindling flamingo head over veiled, deep burgundy coloured beer. End of bottle solid yeast. Sweet-ish, fruity nose, but with a bitter-ish, felt-like streak. Cherries, other red fruit/berries. Sour, with a very obvious flavour of ripe sour cherries. Tart, dry, even a bit dry-out effect. Bitterness not traceable in the flavour. Medium bodied, quite slick and quite well-carbonated. I was fearing for the worst - a fruitbeer with a fancy name for a popular venue... and I was seriously erring. This is actually a very convincing fruitbeer, that deserves more attention.
