Bottle from Morrisons. Deep gold in colour, with a slight, off-white, head. A malty beer, with some caramel and hedgerow fruit, leafy hope and pleasantly bitter finish. Good.

Clear copper colour with quick fading head. Aroma and flavour have plenty of caramel malt notes. Well rounded hop profile. Slightly floral. Excellent session bitter.

500ml bottle: BB 12th Mar 19. Poured into a Black Sheep pint sleeve at home on 21st Sep 18. Clear golden body, off-white head that started deep but became thin fairly quickly. Nice blend of semi-sweet caramel maltiness and hop bitterness, the hops just about winning the battle in both the aroma and taste; liked it.

50cl bottle from Tesco, Amersham. A bright golden amber pour with a tight off-white head; the aroma has a nice blend of malts and tropical fruit; the taste is similar with caramel malts, and some quite acidic and bitter tropical fruits; giving a sharp fruity finish. An interesting beer.

Bottle at home shared with Sarah picked up from Tesco. A clea amber orange coloured pour with a loose white head. Aroma is semi sweet, toffee malt, light sulphur, Yorkshire yeast profile. Grassy hop, sileage and floral hop on the nose. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, burnt sugars, toffee, toasted malts, chalky, dirty grassy hop. Palate is abrasive, chalky, high prickly carbonation.

Bottle from Tesco while making dinner. A strong pour with a pillowy and very creamy head (it's good to see Black Sheep keeping to their roots even when they experiment). The taste was rich hops (not too fruity and not too bitter) and lots of malt. All that malt made for a super drinkable beer and a big thumbs up from me. This is a brilliant hybrid of a classic Yorkshire beer and a craft IPA that I would happily drink again and again.
