Bottle from Aldi. Aroma of citrus, biscuit, hoppy and toffee. Quite carbonated and slightly bitter. Not too bad.

25/8/2024. Bottle shared by ITFCfan. From Aldi, Martlesham Heath. Pours clear amber brown with a small frothy off-white head. Aroma is old hops, malted, toasted, burnt orange, caramel, biscuit, hint of ashtray. Moderate sweetness, medium bitterness. Moderate body, average carbonation. Not too bad.

Bottle from Aldi Supermarket, Borehamwood. Dark amber-gold with a small head. It's not the most flavoursome IPA ever produced, but its strength provides for a decent body.

Bottle from Aldi. Copper coloured, with a moderately-sized, off-white, head and a touch of carbonation. Slightly bready malts, a touch of caramel, trace of leafy hop and red berry fruit, leading to a lingering, bitter, finish. A solid English bottle beer.

Bottle from local Aldi. Pours a bright copper with a decent, but transient off-white head. Aroma isn’t pronounced, but is sweet malts with some oranges. Bitter hops are what hit you first in the mouth, with citrus and nuts closely behind. Eventually the underlying sweet malts seep through as well. Citrus bitterness mainly in the finish. This is really quite good – too good to be wasted as an “own label”.

Bottle from Aldi, Camden on 4th December 3020. Pours a deep copper with tan foam diminishing quickly to a patchy film. Malty, sweaty aroma. Caramel malt liquid pass with fruity touches and a few mild spices. Caramel malt finish with spiciness. Medium bodied with a zingy mouthfeel.

500ml bottle. Amber, small head but it keeps retention well. Aroma of caramel malts, orange citrus. Taste is biscuit malts, surprisingly a decent fruitiness, some citrus and spice at the end with a moderate bitterness in the finish. Light to moderate body, not thin but not that smooth on the palate. A good attempt for the price point especially considering this is Marston's. I enjoyed it.

Clear brown colour with lasting head. Aroma and flavour have some caramel malt sweetness and some floral hop. A little dull.
