Once he reaches the summit, he likes to pour himself a Chouffe and admire the view.
"Grouff, grouff ?" an inquisitive, shaggy-haired yeti, recognising the sound of beer being poured, approached timidly. "Chouffe ! ... not Grouff !" Marcel told him. The white landscape inspired Marcel to call his new beer, which is so refreshing, smooth and spicy: Chouffe Blanche!

--Sample, thanks oh6gdx! -- Hazy golden, small head. Aroma of coriander and citrus. Mid dry with medium body and rounded mouthfeel. White bread, citrus and herbal spice. Low bitterness. Refreshing and elegant.

Bottled 330ml (Alko web) Golden colour, tiny bit of cloudyness, medium-sized white head. Light Belgian yeasty spicey aroma with banana. Light-bodied. Some banana, hops, pale malts, citrus, coriander ... smooth easy going Belgian wheat beer. Even it is a Witbier, it is not soapy tasting, more like normal Blond Ale.

33 cl bottle @ home, BBE 11/2022 Aroma has apricot and Belgian yeast. Flavour has apricot, fruitiness typical to belgian yeast and some floury tones. Very mild hop kick in the finish. Simplish and even a bit mild on taste - could have more character. Nothing offensive here though. Witbier meets tripel.

Aspecto amarillo palido turbio, espuma compacta, fina, buena retención. Refrescante, floral, citrica, ligeramente especiada. No esta mal

Il n'y a aucun doute, notre nain a perdu de sa superbe depuis sa revente. Cette blanche intégrant coriandre et citron, est à la fois stéréotypée et vulgaire et n'apporte rien à la gamme. AU visuel, nous sommes sur un blond doré voilé, une effervescence modérée avec de fines bulles et une mousse blanche disparate. Le nez ne fait pas dans la dentelle, la coriandre en avant avec le citron agrémentés de céréales. En bouche c'est identique et il manque une dose d'acidité pour donner un peu de pep's. Il en ressort une douceur qui renforce ce sentiment de manque de finesse. Sur l'attaque en complément des arômes présents au nez, on peut également déceler une touche de miel/ La coriandre n'est alors pas trop présente. Elle le devient réellement dès la seconde bouche et sur l’arrière-bouche. L'alcool, à 6,5 % est acceptable, tout comme le sont la longueur et la corpulence. Le final, d'ailleurs relativement long, baisse cependant d'un ton mais sans nous offrir plus de variations ou d'intérêts. Bière loin d'extraordinaire, mais je me console que l'on puisse mettre encore un nain sur étiquette, car chez Disney, on en a viré de l'affiche pour moins que ça !
