Can from brewery. Black. Does smell like a mocha, with more chocolate than coffee. The coffee is much more subtle than I wanted. It's more of a caramel experience. A little too sweet, but certainly desserty.

Can. Black with an inch of tan head that collapses to a cm. Mocha aroma with dry ground coffee to the fore, brioche and sugar behind. Really sweet with lots of plain caramel but some roast and coffee behind. Some bitterness at the end but it's not adequate to confront the vast expanse of flab.

From a 375ml can on 27/6/2020. Pours near black with a biggish tan head. Smells of chocolate, coffee and a touch of fridge. It starts intensely sweet with chocolate and caramel but finishes of with a pretty decent roasty coffee finish, along with a hint of licorice, which balances thing out nicely. The mouthfeel is quite syrupy, the carbaonation moderate. Probably shades the Peanut Butter version due to slightly better balance. A lovely dessert beer which would go well with choc mud cake.
