America allo stato puro. Birra ad alta fermentazione prodotta con acqua, malto d’orzo, luppolo e lievito. La sua caratteristica è un marcato colore arancio carico.

I luppoli americani sono il suo “marchio di fabbrica”. Ha potenti note agrumate e resinose, che si fondono con la dolcezza dei malti caramello per bilanciare il grado di amaro.

Abbinamenti: ideale in qualsiasi momento, dà il meglio accompagnata da piatti semplici e schietti: provatela con zuppa alla pavese, verdure grigliate e pesce di fiume.

Old rating from 2016 - 330ml bottle in Italy. Pours caramel colour with a white foamy head. Aromas & tastes of caramel, pine, grain, wood & malt. Medium body. Long bitter finish

33cl bottle shared with Jmgreenuk at Paus, KL. Thin white head. Hazy golden pour. Light bitterness. Easy drinking.

Bottle st Paus Craft Beer Bar, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a hazy medium amber with a frothy white head. The aroma is malt, sweet tropical fruit, light woody hop. The flavour is moderate bitter light sweet with a dry malt, light fruit, light pepper spice, dry woody hop bitter palate and a lingering bitter finish. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

On tap@ Festa della Birra di Rozzano. L’efficacia olfattiva è elevata e la continuità olfattiva apprezzabile. Il gusto al naso ricorda luppolo, poi il malto e l’orzo, infine il lievito. Il cappello di schiuma è una velatura compatta di bollicine fini di media carbonazione. La frizzantezza è vivace e insistita. Il colore è ambrato. Il corpo è strutturato. L’aroma alla lingua è dolce con l’amaro a presenza carica. L’intensità gustativa è elevata e la persistenza gustativa buona. Il gusto è godereccio. Le sensazioni boccali finali sono luppolate, con finale felpato, amarognolo e lungo. Retrogusto intenso. Nel tempo la si ricorda come ottima birra.

33cl bottle @ Il Pretesto, Bologna courtesy of Michele and shared with the lovely lady at Beer for Bunnies. Dorée-orangée, col beige. Arôme est houblonné sur belles notes d’agrumes, fleuri et fruité, pointe de tropical possible mandarine. Palais est légèrement amer, malt et grains en retrait. Fini sec, légèrement fleuri avec un caractère houblonné très américain tirant sur les agrumes, note de cara malt, pointe d’épice et touche d’agrumes persistante en fin de bouche.

ambrata buona schiuma piuttosto persitente leggermete agrumata discreto malto foinale piuttosto luppolato amaro
