Grape skin and light hint of lactose. Golden pour without much head. Light barnyard funk. Light tangy finish. Tap at brewery.

Quite pale. No head. I get a little bit of brett on the nose, but also a little bit of pedio. It's a bit too messy, and the malts aren't that clean, for this to be wallonian in style. The body is quite light, and the brett is the most prominent bug. But the not-so-clean nature of this beer undermines it. In my head I am definitely comparing it to Petit Prince and unfortunately this is more of a pauper version. It's a really unforgiving type of beer to make.

Bottle procured at the brewery. Pours and okay light yellow with little foam, nice hay funk with cinnamon on the nose, or is that smoked meat, either way rather nice. Flavour is lots of brett yeast and some soft grain, slight cereal but mostly yeast character though. Mouthfeel is full and nice, low alcohol doesn't detract. Very nice.

500mL bottle, pours a cloudy yellowish blonde with a large white head. Aroma is wonderfully bretty, with loads of fresh hay, barnyard funk, rustic notes, and clean brett. Flavour follows accordingly, with lots of rustic saison yeast, moderate brett, some barnyard notes, and fresh hay. Bright, fresh and barnyard-y, with almost no residual sugars. Excellent.
