This immensely refreshing cider has a light champagne sparke with fruity apple tones and a long-dry finish. The creative blend of bittersweet and dessert apples impart this classic cider with body and crispness. Serve chilled as instant refreshment or enjoy with a hot bowl of pasta.

[50cl bottle from Waitrose, Wokingham.] A bright golden pour with light acrbonation; freah dessert apple aroma; rather tart taste; and a dry finish. But overall nothing makes this stand out.

Sampled from 0.33 l bottle from ’EDEKA Preller’ (Breckerfeld), best before October 2017. Clear, golden yellow with a thin, fluffy, very quickly diminishing, white head. Sweetish, slightly sourish, fruity aroma of ripe apples and some wood. Moderately sweet, slightly sour, very fruity taste of ripe apples, some walnut and a touch of wood, followed by a short, moderately tart, woody-dry finish. Thin body, quite effervescent mouthfeel, soft to average carbonation. Very pleasant cider, not too sweet and quite dry, well-carbonated.
