This brew fits nicely into the Pacific Northwest style category of beers, showcasing the characteristic pine and citrus flavours. It's got a beautiful golden colour and a slightly fruity, slight floral nose.

If you've enjoyed it at BNA, you might have had it under the name "Big Mario."

The aroma is rotting vegetable hops, has nice creamy foam on a deep cloudy brown body. Flavour is milky and tea-like, biscuit, red licorice like you buy at the movie theatre. Mouthfeel is full. Odd but nice, sweet and smooth. --- Beer aliased from original tick of Big Mario on 10 Jul 2020 at 01:00 - Score: Appearance - 8 | Aroma - 4 | Flavor - 7 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 6.5. On tap at BNA Brew, pours a hazy golden orange with a small white head. Aroma brings out subdued earthy and piney hops, and crisp biscuity malt. Flavour is sharply bitter, with lots of bittering hops, and crisp biscuity malt. The hops are really quite harsh and not optimally used.

Perfume and some citrus. A little green onion. Pours golden with decent head and lacing. Bitter end.

On tap. Pours an orange amber with light head. Aromas of burnt mangos and bready malts. Pretty much a phenol bomb upfront but earthy burnt mangos come out afterwards along with doughy malts.

Hazy tan colour, thin head, low bitterness, touch of stickiness, not especially bright but decent.
