This amber ale combines the best ingredients that Europe and North America have to offer. Belgian crystal malts provide notes of dark fruit and raisins and Cascade hops provide a slight bitterness and a hint of fresh pine.

Can pour at East Side Beer Fest. Pours clear deep amber with off-white head. Dry caramel on the nose. Flavour has dry bready malts. Fairly tame, but decent enough.

473ml can. Pours a clear copper amber with a small, foamy, short lived, beige head that laces. Mild aroma of toasted caramel malt, earthy yeast and floral hops. Sweet flavour of toasted caramel malt, raisin, plum, earthy yeast and light piney hops in a dry, mild bitter finish. Light to medium body with an oily texture and average carbonation. Could use more hops, but still enjoyable and easy to put back.

Rust and a little caramel. Burnt caramel. Dark amber pour with ok head. Light bitter end, bit pretty clean on finish. Tap at brewery.

Poured from the tap. Clear bronze with off white head. Mild caramel malt, feint dark stone fruit, lacks depth, boring, but nothing wrong with it.

On tap at Slackwater, pours a clear bronze / amber with a small off-white head. Aroma is a little vegetal, with toasted caramel, bready malt and herbal hops. Flavour is a bit better, with a decent balance of herbal hops and bready caramel malt. Still a little too vegetal but generally okay.

Pours a really nice deep clear copper with big foam that has staying power. The aroma is soft biscuit with carbonated caramel hints. Flavour is deep biscuit, chewy, full. Simple but full mouthfeel, not too sweet. Nice and drinkable.

Looks a bit off, too yeasty and dull, messes with a nice amber colour. Not a whole lot of aroma. A bit sweet, a bit smoky, but kind of bland, too. Like when gringos try to make Mexican food.
