Has a really nice clear deep copper body with okay foam. Soft mustiness on the nose, mellow apple notes, nothing too sweet, notes of tartness. Flavour is heavy pinot noir, accenting the tart apple cider very well. Full mouthfeel and good tannins linger on the tongue. Really nice, well balanced.

500 ml bottle. Pours a very light copper color with moderate bubbly head that dissipates quickly. Aromas of musty apples and wet wood. Flavors of old apples, oak and Chardonnay with a little spice. Interesting.

Gold colour, which sort of surprises me. Aroma mostly of apple juice, just a flash of woodiness. Apple, dry, tart, bit woody. Mellow balancing sweetness. Not picking out any particular pinot noir influence but it’s a decent cider nonetheless. OK, you do get a nice vinous late in the finish once it warms a touch.

On tap at the Alibi Room, pours a clear blanched apple juice colour with no head. Aroma brings out crisp apple acidity and a touch of vinous character. Flavour is complex, with a wonderfully dry Pinot Noir character jumping out. Bone dry mouthfeel which works perfectly. Really nice.
