Tap at Changwon Express, Bangkok. Poured a clear light golden colour with a big frothy white head. The aroma is malt, super dry woody hop. The flavour is moderate to strong bitter with a crisp, dry light biscuit toffee malt, woody, light floral hop bitter palate and a long bitter finish. Medium bodied with average carbonation. The lingering bitterness in the aftertaste wasn’t pleasant. I just wished it would go away. All the niceness was up front.

355ml can. Pours a hazy pale gold with plenty of sediment floating around and a small, long lasting, white head that leaves curtains of lace. Sweet aroma of pale malt, lemon, tropical fruit and pine. Sweet flavour of tropical fruit, caramel malt, lemon, pine and grass with a dry, bitter, hoppy finish. Light body with an oily texture and average carbonation. Easy drinking, not bad.

355ml can found a long way from Victoria. Modest head and okay golden body with hints of orange and a vauge fog to it. Nice strong and sweet hop aroma. Flavour is a well balanced hop and malt mix with a sour and dry finish. In a galaxy of IPAs this one stands out as very well done and sessionable for sure.

Mostly decent but a bit of an odd aftertaste in this. Some mash cloying sense to it. Pours golden with ok head. Lots of bitterness here. Some pine and citrus. Can from Manitoba Liquor Mart.

Can. Pours a clear gold with a touch of copper and a white head that dissipates slowly to the edges. Aroma has a musty grass note with a bit of resin and a grain backbone. Flavor has more of a bread note with earthy grass and a bit of light pine supporting.

Hazy blonde, fruity and slightly earthy hop aroma. Clean, bitter up front with sweet pale malts. Mangos and oranges and pine...so good together. This nails the modern pale ale.

Draught at Craft Beer Market, Vancouver
Hazy blond color with generous compact head. The aroma is moderately hoppy. Dry mouthfeel; the malt flavor is quite good, with a toffee accent; correctly bold bitterness, carrying some hop qualities, soft resins and mild fruitiness.
Pleasant and spot on.
