On tap at North Pointe, pours a clear golden blonde with a small white head. Aroma reveals plenty of estery notes upfront and a bit of rustic saison yeast. Flavour reveals some tangy citrus, light rustic character, and a touch of esters. Dry, rustic finish. Pleasant and decently made -- clearly improved from prior editions.

The aroma is medium sweet caramel and butter, has weak semi-cloudy gold body with some modest foam. Flavour is medium semi-fruit grains with some modest sweetness. Mouthfeel is full but unfulfilling. It's actually kind of weak.

Touch of bubblegum among other phenols, low bitterness, quite sloppy. Doesn't quite come together.

Draught at the brewery
Murky blond colour. Light acidity, light citrus peel, no Saison character. It ends up being a drinkable beer without being a Saison.
