Cloudy gold with a decent white head. Woody. Woody and bitter.

On tap at North Pointe, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma reveals dull earthy hops and crisp biscuity malt. Flavour reveals a nice dry, earthy hop character and crusty bready character to back. Dry and earthy. Nice stuff.

The aroma is good funky lager grain with hop notes, has okay foam on a semi-cloudy copper body. Flavour is bright chewy grain with hop and chalk hints. Mouthfeel is full and dry. It's nice but rather unrefined.

Toasty. Slight haze, med bitterness but this seems quite malt-focused. So not much showcase for the experimental hop.

Draught at the brewery
I wonder if this one is the same as the Smahing Baby. Cloudy to murky golden colour, creamy head. The malt base is very bready, the hop is piney, strong resins, strong bitterness. Restrained for an IPA and a bit stale, but not bad.
