Pale amber, hazy, thin head. Light toastiness, sort of a gentle acidity…light acidulated malt to mimic cask? Relaxed biscuity note. 3 6 6 3 12

On tap at Beere, pours a clear copper golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out subtle English hops, butterscotch, and bready malt. Flavour follows suit, with butterscotch, bready malt and subtle English hops. Really well constructed. Nice stuff.

The aroma is weak sweet hazelnut and malt, has fast gone foam on a semi-cloudy orange body. Flavour is okay nutty malt elements but simple. Mouthfeel is completely missing the proper mouthfeel for an english bitter, even for a pale ale it's kind of muddy. It's close but you know, close only counts in horseshoes and sex.

Draught at the brewery
Hazy golden colour. Lean. But the malt tenders some paper feeling, balanced bitterness, non descriptive hops. Not sure what makes of this an English Ale, besides the absence of American hops character.
