Draught at the brewery
Dark brown colour, near black. It's dry but not weak, roasty and a bit earthy, with light fruit notes. The fruit adds a dimension and seems to improve the base.

On tap at R & B, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma is pretty subdued, with just a touch of cocoa. Flavour is pretty muted and lacking character, with bitter dry cocoa and little else. Not getting the cherries. Cheap and watery. Lame stuff.

The aroma is soft chocolate only, has a blackish brown body with modest foam as it was poured too high. Flavour is soft chocolate, very weak cherry if any at all. Mouthfeel is reasonably crisp and smooth. This is okay but very simplistic.

Dark brown, no head, aroma is mostly chocolate, kinda thin, no getting much cherry just husky chocolate.
