Medium yellow body and soft foam, mellow hops and sharp grains on the nose. Flavour is sharp grains with soft floral hop notes. Crisp carbonation. Adequate but not too exciting.

This was a special at the brewery. Base Pilsner is the base for 999, but it doesn't have the berliner weisse brett mix. Now, 999 was also quite heavy on the pedio, which I did not like, so it was cool that this Base Pilsner was available when I was in the neighbourhood. Hazy and blonde. Thin head. Fresh pale malts, a bit doughy but also some nice sweetness. Moderate continental hops, maybe a touch grassy.
