Cobra Clutch is a hazy double IPA. Hopped with anthanum, cascade and mosaic hops. Juicy citrus, mango and floral hop notes compliment the hazy, refreshing body in this fragrant and easy-drinking DIPA.

Can, 0.473l, courtesy of CanCrusher. Aroma of mango, peach, resin and citrus. Pours cloudy dark golden color with large soapy off-white head, great lacing and sparkling appearance. Taste starts rich and sweet malty, following is ripe tropical and stone fruity, herbal and medicinal, mouthfeel is warm, while finish is heavy bitter. Full body, oily texture and average carbonation in palate. Hoppy wrestling…

473ml can. Pours a slightly hazy gold yellow with plenty of floaties and a small, foamy, long lasting, white head that laces nicely. Sweet fruity aroma of grainy pale malt, orange, mango, peach and floral hops. Sweet fruity flavour of caramel malt, grapefruit, pineapple, alcohol and piney hops in a dry, bitter finish. Medium body with a sticky texture and average carbonation. Not bad.

473ml can at Taps Beer Bar, Changkat, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a slightly hazy golden colour with a mostly lasting frothy white head. The aroma is grainy malt, toffee caramel. The flavour is moderate sweet, light bitter, with a crisp, sweet toffee, light citrus, light woody hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Nice can, but the beer is rather basic. It lacks fruit, is too sweet and the alcohol is too well hidden.

Poured from 473mL can. Cloudy golden orange with slightly off-white head. Citrus hops with a mild juiciness and light tropical and pine hops. Most of the flavour is at the beginning with a mild sweetness and touch of alcohol as it tapers off. Unfortunately, still has a bit of that typical P49 lame flavour.

Mellow foggy orange body and a bit of foam, soft sweet hops on the nose. Flavour is more sugary muddy hops followed by a wet finish. Very average, like a dozen of their other beers with a vague variation that none of us will ever remember.

Tall can from the brewery. Appearance: hazy golden with a white head. Aroma: a bit sweet with generic tropical fruits character. Taste: similar with booziness, not really much hoppy character. Overall: very simple DIPA, no complexity, generic boozy drink.

Nice DIPA with tasty citrus hops, light fruit and pine, too. Good malt base, everything clean. Just a hint of alcohol late. Solid.

On tap. Pours an ugly turbid white amber with moderate head. Aromas of over ripe fruit and muddy wet malts. Flavors of creamy applesauce, muddled dull fruit and mucky malts. Not for me. Need a cleaner beer...
