On tap at 33 Experiment, pours a clear dark amber with a small beige head. Aroma brings out lots of crusty dark rye bread, with light caramel in there buried. Flavour literally tastes like you're chewing on a loaf of rye bread - any further word on the taste would be superfluous. Fun experiment but not exactly enjoyable.

Amber-brown, and bright. No head, looks kind of oily. Spicy, lots of rye character. I like that intense rye but the beer needs more carbonation. I swear they put caraway in this, that’s how much of the dark rye bread taste they’ve captured. Just gotta fix that mouthfeel.

Dark brown body with some clearishness and no real foam. Smells like sweet licorice actually, could be a first for me in my beer rating tenure. Maybe some sour pumpernickel in there too, quite nice. Flavour is funky bitter bread, the licorice is lost, chewy sweetness at least. Full enough on the mouth but neither crisp nor dry. Off kilter, I'd send it to the hospital with an irregular heartbeat.

Draught at the brewery
Dark amber, clean. Surprisingly mild aroma. Mild malt base with true spicy rye character, I suspect they used some caraway and salt. Clean and enjoyable for what it is.
