Lichtenhainer is a historical beer style from the town of Lichtenhain, Germany that was most popular in the late 1800s. Crossroads is our take on the style brewed with Wheat malt and Cherrywood-smoked barley, giving the beer a bready malt flavour and its signature smoky character. A lemon-like acidity is in careful balance with the smoke flavour, and its light body makes this brew highly drinkable.

Soft gold body and minimal head, very soft lager aroma. Taste is heavy smokiness and a bit of sour. Full on the mouth but comes across as rather rough.

Hazy blond colour. Delicate aroma of bread and smoke, with a sour note. The mouthfeel is dry, quite crisp, with mild bready malts character, light smoke, moderate acidity, a bit of lemon. Very low bitterness.
Pleasant and refreshing, it may be better with a crisper malt character, but this is wheat in the end…

Gold colour. Thin head. Lightly smoky. Mellow smoke...dull flabby malts, mild sourness. Not very good but it gets a couple of smoke whore points.

On tap at Strange Fellows, pours a hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma is loaded with smoked malt, ash, and tart citrus. Flavour melds the smoke and Sour well together, with campfire ash, tart citrus, and light acidity. Really nice sourness here. Very good.
