Legendary showman P.T. Barnum once noted, “everybody drank cider-spirits called ‘gumption’.” Our Woodchuck GUMPTION™ celebrates the spirit of P.T. Barnum and those with the gumption to follow their own path. We pair the fresh juice of common eating apples with dry cider apples to bring you a bold and unique drinking experience.

Bottle. Don’t care for "dry" drinks. This one is like a slightly dry wine. Color is gold. Aroma is that of apples. Taste is like, well dry apple cider.

Sweet but also a bit dry. Not overwhelmingly sweet either.

Single from New Beer Distro. Pint glass pour. Clear, golden amber body. Quick-hitting spritz. Smell is a freshly popped bottle of Adam & Eve apple juice(Mott’s is sweeter), plus a little citric acid and splash of white grape juice. Taste is just a bit sweeter then straight apple juice. Grape juice is definitely there. Sort of like a juice box blend. Low abv, tart bittersweet skin finish, slight browned fruit flavor. Straight juice. They really hit the "natural flavor" mark with this one. While I’m opposed to that sort of false flavoring, this is the first Woodchuck I’ve tolerated in a long while.

Quick bottle at home on Sunday afternoon as I try to work my way around New England cideries. Deeper gold pour some bubbles. Nose is sweet brown sugar and tart Apple. Tastes of green apple, red apple skin, brown sugar, hint of hay. Sweet but not horrendously so.
