On tap at the farm. Has good off white foam and clear brown copper body. Aroma is big sweet hops mixed with sugary syrup, almost floor cleanerish but pulls back at the last minute, some artificial orange candy in there. Flavour is big sweet orangey hops, candyish for sure and rather overbearing. Mouthfeel is full enough but very sweet. This is way too heavy, too sweet, needs a little finesse. Right now it's just a big hoppy blunt instrument.

Taster at Parallel 49 shared with Andrey.10.2% ABV. Clear copper. Aroma is very sweet with figs notes. Taste is similar. There is some not elegant hoppy bitterness. It's ok.

On tap. Pours a brown.amber with light head. Presented as 11.8%. Big caramel malts, dull old hops, and raisiny fruit. Nothing really wrong, but just not getting anything exciting. Not boozy...

Draught at Alibi Room, Vancouver, as "Persephone Hoppy's Private Reserve Triple IPA", 11.8% ABV
Amber colour, just a bit hazy, with small compact head. It smells like an old style IPA, sticky caramel and armpit hops. Not too sweet, but the flavour is indeed caramel based, and the hop turns into something resiny, sweaty and cheesy; the alcohol can be perceived, not too boozy though.
With that profile, it's borderline a Barley Wine. And if I think of it as such, I like it more.
Not an easy style, and not a drink for everybody, decently brewed for a triple or quadruple IPA, won't be remembered though.

Earthy, has a big chewy character. Hops are rich and resiny, some alcohol. Seems like a pretty typical TIPA.
