Bottle, Legacy. Dark brown. Head frothed up and then fell down. The nose is mostly chocolatey. On the palate, it has decent body with some residual sugars and a mellow bitterness for balance. Not hoppy - chocolate is still the lead, but with some nuttiness towards the finish. Finishes balanced. I like it. Very drinkable.

On tap. Pours a very dark brown with light tan head. Aromas of nutty chocolate and roasted malts. Dry somewhat acidic and slightly sour flavors of same. Yep a dry porter...

On tap at the brewery. Has an okay dark brown-black body with modest foam. Aroma is soft roasted barley funk with some sweetness and hints of soya sauce. Flavour is good bright sweet porter notes with coffee and baker's chocolate coming through. Mouthfeel is a little watery, could be more crisp. This is a nice porter, good qualities there but it could be ever more spectacular.
