Taster at the brewery. Pours a bit hazy dark copper with a tan head. Aroma is roasted malt with some slight fruity notes. Taste is quite sour, some sour cherries and roasted malt. Not sure how much of oak is here.

Draught at the brewery
Dark brown colour. The body is quite weak. It has mild bready notes and some sour liquor, very mild roasted malts, with very low bitterness.
It tastes like a blend of 2 things that is less than the sum of the parts.

Draught, Alibi. Chocolate malt notes. Mellow sour. Woody notes. Maybe a touch of balsamic. Odd to take a kettle sour and condition it like this, really, but the effect isn't bad.

Aroma of soft funky caramel. Has a dark copper brown with no foam. Flavour is yeast and hay but not in a prominent way. Mouthfeel is very watery, too much so. This is not a great attempt at this style.

On tap at Powell, pours a deep dark brown with a small beige head. Aroma brings out plenty of oak, toasted caramel and bready malt. Flavour almost seems like a sour doppelbock rather than a Flemish Brown, with notes of balsamic, toasted bready malt and a touch of caramel. Not a whole lot of depth, but it drinks nicely enough. Good stuff.
