On tap at Glck Restobar - Ñuos, pours a deep dark brown with a medium beige head. Aroma reveals caramelized brown sugar, Belgian yeast-like notes, and toasted bread. Flavour has a nice complex yeast profile, with lots of dark sugars, burnt caramel, gentle brown sugar, and dry, crusty, bready malt.

Deep dark brown coloured body with a thinnish, off-white and deeper tan head that fades pretty slowly, but goes away fully after a minute or two. Aroma of roasted and very toasted malts with some light oatmeal, grain and raisins here with some pitted fruits as well and a dry kick of yeast at the end. Medium to Full-bodied; Strong rich roasty notes dominate with a lot of grain and earthiness with a good nutty finish, but the sugars here are very nice, especially noticeable at the end. Aftertaste shows some grainy finishes with a lot of the pitted fruits, raisins, figs and prunes here, but the malt reigns supreme, in a good way, with a bit of a rustic and slightly creamy finish with some vanilla, but this is nice throughout and showing a pretty good complexity. I sampled this 33 cL bottle purchased from Jumbo [supermarket] in central Santiago, Chile on 09-August-2022, my 13th wedding anniversary, with my wife and three kids for CLP 1,750 sampled in my hotel room here in Las Condes, Santiago, Chile on 10-August-2022.

16/12/2018. Draft at Flannery’s Irish Geo Pub, Santiago. Pours very dark brown with a beige head. Aroma of malt, chocolate, molasses and toffee. Moderate sweetness, medium bitterness. Medium to full body, sticky texture, soft carbonation. Easy drinking, pretty good.

Aroma of soft barley and little else. Has mellow foam head and a black body. Flavour is dark sugar and roasted barley without distinction. Okay on the mouth. It's very drinkable, if a little simple.

Dark brown colour. The aroma mixes sour off notes (argh, not again) with caramel and light fudge. The taste has some soft dark sugars that show promise, but also a light milk chocolate character. I guess I would not bottle-condition this one, since that only causes it problems.

An excellent beer. Could almost be considered an Imperial stout. Has a strong, full taste of alcohol with a great coffee note that goes through a number of stages on the palate. Aftertaste a good bitter. Probably one of the best Chilean beers I’ve had.
