Pours deep clear golden with thick, quickly disappearing white head. Nose is sweet, parfume-y fruity, pleasant but a bit artificial. Taste follows this fruity direction, with some wheat notes and closes with sweet finish. Light bodied with average carbo. Not bad, but nothing extraordinary either.

Maritim rating med EO, OG og KH ombord på Fridtjofen (Havnedagene i Haugesund) aug-19: 0,5 flaske fra supermarked i Agrigento, Sicilia. Klar gylden med fint skum som varer. Pærer, røde bær og tyggis sammen med et meget diskret hint av røyk. Noe jordbæraktig i avslutningen.

bottiglia 50 cl, schiuma bianca fine evanescente, colore oro limpido, al naso malto cereali e note di affumicato, in bocca malto affumicato cereali e fico d’india, corpo leggero, watery, carbonazione moderata, dolce con amaro percettibile. Bottled 500ml. -from Coop Firenze, Italy. Pale golden coloured, minimal white head, mild fruity nose. Sweetish malty, caramel, candy sugar, notes of pear and some herbs with short bitterish finish. Not bad.

Modest foam and golden body, smells of sugary wheat or perfumy malts. Not bad. However it tastes like someone dumped a perfume bottle into a bottle of liquid smoke. Really bad tasting stuff. Medium finish. This is not a good mix of chemicals.

Dec. ’16. A 0.5 l bottle that poured a clear golden body with medium sized head, exactly like the rest of the series. Aroma of light herbal hops, bread and hay grainy malt, rye bread, with a rather pleasant addition of fruity jam, something like cooked figs. Flavor was lightly bitter and harsh grainy, hay, burnt bread, some light honey, caramel and fig jam underneath. Quite thin in body anyway with moderately long herbal dry and grainy finish. Sugar at the very end. A bit messy, but surely better than most of the series.
